CASA SANTACULTURA
EXPERIENCES
LEARN THROUGH OUR CULTURAL EXPERIENCES
At Casa Santacultura, we believe the best way to understand a place is by living its traditions. Our experiences invite you to learn directly from local knowledge—through food, music, art, and everyday life in the heart of Guanacaste.

Discover how ancient Chorotega heritage is still alive in clay pottery, taste the flavors of the Blue Zone in traditional recipes cooked over wood stoves, and feel the rhythm of marimba and folkloric celebrations that connect generations.

Every experience is hands-on: cook, create, share stories, and join in the customs that make our culture unique. More than a visit, it’s an opportunity to connect deeply, learn authentically, and carry a piece of Guanacaste with you.
COOKING CLASS EXPERIENCE
Guided by a local cook, you’ll prepare traditional dishes rooted in Chorotega indigenous heritage, using fresh ingredients and time-honored recipes. Cook over a wood stove and in a clay oven, just as generations have done before. More than a class—it’s an immersion into culture, health, and tradition.
GUAITIL
POTTERY TOWN
Guaitil, located just 15 minutes from Santacultura, is a traditional Chorotega village famous for its handcrafted pottery made with ancient techniques passed down through generations. Visitors can watch local artisans shape and paint beautiful clay pieces using natural materials.
CAFECITO CHOROTEGA
